    1. This book was beautifully illustrated It was quite technical and a bit difficult for me to follow, but I suspect that it is not a book that is meant to be read just one time I appreciated learning so much about the invasion, especially the politics involved, the contributions of other countries besides the United States, and the sacrifices of so many soldiers.

    2. This book was great It had a lot of cool facts about the people that were in it The pictures were sweet I liked how the author had pictures of the beaches in 1944 and then now As far as nonfiction goes this was a really great book, probably my favorite nonfiction I ve read That s why I have it 3 stars.

    3. I bought this for my high school US History classroom The numerous photos make it appealing to reluctant readers.
