    2. Greg Jenkins hasn t heard from his sister Sam all weekend and becomes very worried when he gets a call from their mother informing him that Sam never turned up their scheduled visit Greg doesn t want to alarm their mother, but Greg feels something isn t right Then come Monday morning and Sam hasn t turned up for work and now Greg knows it s time to get the police involved In the meantime Greg goes around to Sam s place to see if he can find any clues as to where she might be The only thing that [...]

    4. I raced through this book and enjoyed every minute of it The suspense was excellent and it kept me on the edge of my seat all the way as well as keeping me guessing who the murderer was going to be I have to admit I was wrong with my initial guess Vicki threw in quite a few red herrings but it eventually dawned on me a few paragraphs before the big reveal An excellent book and I will certainly read .

    5. This is my first Vicki Tyley book So, not knowing what to expect, I approached Fatal Liaison like I would any new author, lets see what we have here What we have here is a, fast paced, high tensioned and well plotted book. The story starts of at a gentle pace Greg is concerned that his sister has gone AWOL but this is nothing new Two best friend, Megan and Brenda, go to a dateless and desperate dinner When after a few days Sam, Greg s sister, hasn t turned up for work Greg starts to get a bit co [...]

    6. Greg Jenkins was becoming concerned his little sister Sam was meant to visit their mother for the weekend and hadn t turned up no one had heard anything from her, and Greg was sure she wouldn t worry their mother unnecessarily So to avoid the stress to her, he made an excuse for Sam called away on business then headed to her apartment to begin his search But Sam was nowhere to be found, and as the days wore on and she didn t show up for work, he knew he needed to involve the police.Megan Brighto [...]

    7. I hadn t read a mystery suspense or a contemporary book for quite some time and wasn t sure if I wanted to subject myself to sitting on the edge of my seat BUT this was an excellent and quick read I was instantly pulled into the narrative and kept there till the end I loved the concept Dinner for Twelve, murder, a feisty heroine and a charming hero The characters are drawn well, and I was so glad it wasn t a cop meets damsel in distress and they fall in bed, type story The story is told simply a [...]

    8. Interesting book that had me guessing I read this book as part of a winter challenge and I could not put it down Fantastic story line and great characters with it all tying up at the end I love how Vicki Tyley doesn t write about explicit sex scenes and it was a perfect murder mystery book.

    9. This was the first book by Vicki Tyley that I have read and I enjoyed it although a bit scary how many suspects there were.

    10. I ve read an enjoyed Vicki Tyley s other three books One of this author s true talents is presenting a beginning that draws readers into the story and keeps them engaged until the very end I never felt this story dragged, and I was reluctant to put the story down until I had read every last word I genuinely liked and cared about the characters in the story They were developed to the extent that a good balance was reached between the action and the characterization I was pulled into the story bec [...]

    11. Well written and well told, with colourful characters and finely drawn scenes, this is a book that will entertain you and immerse you in the challenging issues facing the headstrong Megan Brighton. What are the mysteries surrounding the Dinner for Twelve dining date Charming bachelor, Greg Jenkins also has some questions about this singles dining group, too His sister, Samantha has been out of contact for some days now and Greg is getting quite worried about her.Megan s close friend Brenda goes mi [...]

    12. Well, what can I say, except that so many things resonated with me as I read Vicki s novel But I don t want to spoil the reading experience for the reader, so I shall refrain from giving exact details I do want to say, however, that although I haven t been on singles dinner dates , I ve done a lot of online dating and that s how I met my cheating, wackjob of an ex husband but I digressI found I couldn t put down Vicki s novel I just had to know what was going to happen next, and I also saw the p [...]

    13. I was drawn into this story from the very beginning and totally engrossed throughout The plot twists and characters are woven into this story in such a fashion that I had a hard time putting this book down.Greg s sister is missing and his only lead is a singles meeting event sponsored by Dinner for Twelve Megan and Brenda attend a couple of Dinner for Twelve events and when Brenda goes missing Megan has reason to suspect someone in the group Greg and Megan eventually form an allegiance to search [...]

    14. Review posted on KindleFatal Liaison was recommended when I put out my feelers for a good Aussie Indie book to read I purchased Fatal Liaison with high hopes, and wasn t disappointed. When rating a book, I take many things into account, with a large emphasis on value for money, because I hardly expect to find a Stephen King worthy thriller for 0.99 as much as I d like to At this price, Vickey Tyley s Fatal Liaison delivers exceptional value for money With a cleverly crafted storyline that keeps y [...]

    15. I ve read all of Vicki Tyley s books, and all have several qualities in common All are thrillers or mysteries with multiple suspects or potential resolutions I ve always been convinced each of the primary suspects was guilty at some point, yet the ending still catches me off guard Tyley s ability to plot a story is the envy of many of her peers Fatal Liaison keeps this streak alive.I thought the premise of the story, that someone is targeting women using the dating service, was clever and unique [...]

    16. I love mysteries and Fatal Liaisons is right up there with some of the best I ve read The story woven by Vicki Tyley will make you rethink ever using a dating service of any kind again The characters are well developed, and the story has a wonderful flow that kept me turning the pages I had to look twice at the ridiculously inexpensive price to make sure I was seeing it correctly Grab this book before the price goes up You won t regret it

    17. Another winner for Vicki Tyley, a suspense filled story with a few surprises to keep a reader on their toes I really like the fact the book flowed without any bumps I could easily picture the characters and settings in my head I have to say, the only thing missing in this book is the main characters not connecting I was hungry for the connection that Vicki Tyley is so great of creating Maybe a sequel that continued with some of same characters

    18. Vicki Tyley is a great mystery writer and I have enjoyed all of her novels that I ve read to date and once again she did not disappoint I enjoyed the story itself and especially found it interesting because I have a couple friends who are currently using a dating service to find that special someone they definitely need to read this novel.

    19. This is a well crafted mystery with colourful characters and lots of suspense The plotting is masterful and Vicki Tyley keeps up the pace with the many twists in the plot, and keeps us guessing right to the ending I really enjoyed reading this book.

    20. Vicki Tyley is getting better with each book she writes and Fatal Liaison is her best to date Her writing style is becoming polished and her plots seem to be complex. Can t wait for her next offering.

    21. I like this book, it wasn t one that I had figured out half way throughought I might, but I didn t It had some surprises And, rare in a book, at least for me, is being startled when something happens, I mean physically, it startled meol

    22. The women in Tyley s books are many women we know At times confident, strong, and capable And at times disillusioned, doubtful and insecure One way or another they work their way through life finding their path through discovery and need, and rising to the necessity of challenges They exhibit bravery and fearfulness, at times in equal measure for the same event.Mystery, murder and suspense are all part of Vicki Tyley s books but let s not forget romance Something sweet, longing and juicy that bu [...]

    23. This was a suspense with definite romantic undertones What I don t like about romance novels is the excess filler in too much description While this one had some, it wasn t over the top at all I thought it went on and on though for awhile about the dating service Some of the discovery was sort of a stretch For example How one discovered where something was taking place and the subsequent relatively easy break in There were parts where you could feel the suspense I hadn t readily guessed the perp [...]

    24. I wanted to like this book than I did While the mystery held together well, the combination of violent scenes with writing that was somewhat harlequinesque in most places just didn t work for me I suspect I m just out of step and many people would love it.

    25. Melbourne based thriller featuring two friends who decide to join a dating group but end up getting than they bargained for
